Handmade 100% linen shirt colored with pigments from natural dyestuff.
The shirt was first scoured and mordanted using soda ash and alum. I then sprinkled some yellow onion skins, dried eucalyptus leaves, powdered cochineal bugs, dried marigolds and fresh marigold flowers on the fabric. The shirt was bundled and steamed for 30 minutes.
